WESTCOTT DESIGNS LIMITED WARRANTY
At Westcott Designs, we stand behind our high-quality products and designs. Westcott Designs, Inc. warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for so long as the original purchaser owns the product, subject to the exceptions set forth below, PROVIDED THAT SUCH PRODUCTS WERE properly installed in accordance with our installation instructions.
Westcott Designs will repair or replace, in its sole discretion, the product or components found to be defective; provided, however, the maximum amount Westcott Designs may pay under this Limited Warranty shall not exceed the price paid by the purchaser for the defective products. Repairs or replacements will be made with like or similar parts.
POWDER COAT COVERAGE
Our powder coat products and services are warranted from the date of purchase by the original purchaser for 1 year.
OUR LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO DAMAGE RESULTING FROM:
- Misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, negligence, vandalism, fire, riot, war, road conditions, racing, acts of God or any cause of loss normally covered by insurance;
- Improper use, installation, maintenance, or service;
- Failure to follow directions on proper use or installation;
- Any modification or alteration without prior express written authorization by Westcott Designs;
- Repair or attempted repair by unauthorized persons;
- Replacement of original components with substitutes without prior express written authorization by Westcott Designs;
- Exposure to corrosives, contaminants, chemicals, salt, irradiation or atmospheric or environmental conditions;
- Usage or loading in excess of recommended capacities or in non-standard applications; and
- Normal wear and tear.
Our Limited Warranty will become null and void if you use your vehicle, at any time, for commercial use.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES OR WARRANTIES. WESTCOTT DESIGNS DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, ANY WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE.
In no event shall Westcott Designs or its distributors be liable or responsible for INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
To obtain warranty service, contact Westcott Designs. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
