Version 2.0! Westcott Designs 5th Gen (2010-2024) 4Runner rear hatch ladder 2.0! Construction is all aluminum to keep it light weight. The uprights are double layered and updated from the 1/4" to 3/16" aluminum to make them super rigid and dropping some weight in the process.? We also enlarged the cutouts in the side rails and top plate to lose some weight without compromising rigidity and stability. We realized with all the ladders on the market they just did not have large enough steps so we took it to the next level. We put in a 1?x 2? step to reassure a solid step ever time. Each step has tracks in it to allow for additional attachment points. This ladder is the most solid mounting ladder on the market! -
